JAE YANG pRINCIPAL
Jae is a specialist legal advisor whose technical expertise in law relating to tax, charity and not-for-profit has been recognised by the 'for-purpose' sector, legal profession (e.g. listed by Chambers and Partners as an expert) and various Australian government regulators (e.g. Australian Taxation Office, Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission and the Commonwealth Treasury).
Prior to establishing Charitas Law, he spent close to 14 years in a leading charity and not-for-profit specialist law firm based in Sydney and Melbourne and led the firm’s Charity & Tax team as a Partner for 5 years.
Jae holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Queensland University of Technology, a Bachelor of Theology from Wesley Institute (now Excelsia College) and a Master of Arts from the University of Queensland.
